Individual Therapy
Therapy is an invitation to slow down — to turn toward yourself with curiosity rather than judgment, and to explore what lies beneath the surface of your everyday experience.
-
In our work together, we create a reflective, collaborative space to examine the emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and stored experiences that quietly shape how you move through the world. Many of these patterns were formed long before you had words for them — held not just in your mind, but in your body, your nervous system, your way of being with others.
-
My approach draws from psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, IFS, ACT and DBT. This means we work on multiple levels at once — exploring the deeper roots of your experience while also building practical tools for regulation, resilience, and change. We follow what is most alive for you, integrating insight with embodied healing.
-
This work is well suited for those navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship patterns, identity questions, and life transitions — especially those who sense that something runs deeper than what talk therapy alone has been able to reach.
Over time, this work can support a fuller sense of self — one that feels more grounded, more integrated, and more fully yours.
Coaching
For people who are good at what they do, and tired of how hard it feels.
-
Coaching is forward-focused. We start with where you want to go: the promotion, the harder conversation, the relationship that feels different, the version of you that doesn't have to over-prepare for everything. Then we work toward it with clear goals and practical strategies. What makes my coaching different is that it's somatic.
Somatic coaching, also called embodiment coaching, works with the body as well as the mind, so you change how you respond under pressure, not just how you think about it. Most high achievers already have the insight. What gets in the way is the tight chest before a presentation, the people-pleasing that kicks in before you've decided anything, the body that treats a negotiation or a first date like a threat.
We work with that directly, so confidence becomes something you can actually access in the moment.
-
I'm a clinical psychologist, so I bring more than a coaching certification to the work. That includes years of training in interpersonal patterns, behavior-change skills drawn from DBT, ACT and Somatic Experiencing training in how the nervous system handles pressure. I also have years of experience helping people navigate career moves and negotiate for what they're worth.
Whether you're looking for an executive coach, a leadership coach, or a life coach, sessions are practical. You'll leave with tools you can use before a pitch, during a hard conversation, or on the way into a date.
Over time, the goal is for steadiness to stop being something you perform and become something you have.

FAQs about
Coaching
What can a life coach help with?
A life coach helps with goals like building confidence, navigating career transitions, managing perfectionism, setting boundaries, and approaching dating and relationships with more clarity. My coaching adds a somatic, body-based approach so those changes hold up under pressure.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching focuses on goals, performance, and growth in the present and future. It isn't mental health treatment and doesn't diagnose or treat conditions. If therapy would be a better fit, I'll tell you, and I also offer individual therapy.
How is somatic coaching different from traditional life coaching?
Traditional life coaching works mainly through mindset, accountability, and strategy. Somatic coaching adds the body, working with how stress, pressure, and confidence show up physically, so changes last in high-stakes moments.
Can coaching help with performance anxiety?
Yes. Coaching for performance anxiety focuses on building steadiness before and during high-pressure moments like presentations, negotiations, and interviews, using body-based tools alongside practical preparation.
Is coaching covered by insurance?
No. Coaching is private pay and isn't billed to insurance.
Embodiment Coaching in NYC
You don't have to keep pushing through. There is another way — and it starts in the body.
-
Embodiment coaching is a structured, goal-oriented container for people who are ready to work with their nervous system directly — not just understand it, but to optimize it.
This is not therapy. It is focused, practical, and results-oriented — especially well suited for high-performing professionals in demanding careers: executives, founders, leaders, and performers navigating high-stakes decisions, constant visibility, and the pressure to perform at full capacity without pause. Together we identify the specific patterns living in your body, build a personalized somatic toolkit, and develop sustainable practices for regulation, presence, and resilience.
-
Drawing from Somatic Experiencing, polyvagal theory, and evidence-based mind-body practices, each program is tailored to your nervous system, your lifestyle, and your goals.
-
The result isn't just feeling calmer — it's clearer decision-making under pressure, a steadier presence in the room, and the capacity to lead without running on empty.
Group Therapy
There is something that happens in a room full of people who truly understand — something that no individual session can quite replicate.
-
Healing in community reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles. Our pain is not a personal failing, and witnessing others move through difficulty can open possibilities for healing we may not have known were possible.
-
Group therapy offers a unique space for connection, shared insight, and collective healing. Through the honest exchange of experiences, members can find clarity, courage, and a deeper sense of belonging — often discovering that the parts of themselves they have kept hidden are the very things that connect them most deeply to others.
-
The group becomes a living space to notice and work through relational and intergroup dynamics as they unfold in real time. This offers an opportunity to develop insight, practice new ways of relating, and engage with patterns that can be difficult to access outside of the group.
